Danish wool at the heart of every piece

I want my clothes to be both beautiful and practical, and quilting is a process I particularly enjoy. Each piece is constructed from three carefully considered layers, with the edges finished by hand with binding.

For the outer and inner layers, I work with a variety of natural textiles, including silk, wool, linen and cotton. At the heart of each quilted piece is wool batting made in Denmark from Danish wool.

Wool is a remarkable natural material. It provides warmth while remaining breathable, making the garments comfortable to wear across seasons. It is also resilient, long-lasting and beautifully suited to the tactile character of La Fauvette.

For every quilted piece, the outer fabric, wool batting and lining are individually selected to work together. I adjust the construction as I go, allowing the weight, texture and character of the fabrics to shape the finished garment.
